Today Is The Day When Everyone Young Or Old,
Tall Or Short ,
Light Skin Or Dark Must Come Together
To Show The Whole World
That This Nation Is The Best Nation
Under The Sun.

On a chilling Thursday morning of January 25 , around 500 students lined up to join the ‘Republic Day Celebration’ , where the morning assembly was arranged by Prakash House .The entire assembly was anchored by Ms. Sarla Adlakha .The event started with the daily prayer which was followed by Flag Hoisting by the Principal Ma’am Mrs. Sunita Kharbanda and Head Mistress Ma’am Mrs. Mamta Arora which was accompanied with National Anthem .
Everyone stood still to participate in the National Anthem .This was followed by prize distribution for English Essay writing competition wherein students who have a flair for writing were awarded.

On the occasion of this Republic Day celebration Jagriti of class XI made the students and teachers pledge as mentioned in The Preamble of Indian Constitution .Harsh of class IX A then gave a speech informing students about the Republic Day with some of the highlights of his speech were “Republic Day in India is celebrated every year with great pride on 26th Jan to honor the Constitution of India as it came into force on the same day in the year 1950” .The event was concluded with poem recitation by Alisha of V A wherein she beautifully referred India to a ‘Golden Sparrow’.
