Mother’s Day Celebration

“The palm on your fevered brow, the soft kisses when you need them most, the grip that steadies you on rocky roads, the hands that feed and nurture you, the voice that tells you that you are loved, the shadow that walks beside you unconditional and enduring,

A Mother’s Love.”

A day that celebrates the essence of a mother is Mother’s Day. One of those occasions that none of us can afford to miss. There could not be more universal celebration than this one. Keeping this emotional bond in mind, We at Sant Nirankari Public School, Faridabad had a special celebration on this day.We had something special and unique to realize the importance of Mother in one’s life. On 4^th May 2018, a special competition of card making was organized for the students of grade 1 and 2.Students had a splendid time during the activity. The outcome of their efforts was marvelous. It was a fun-filled activity wherein everyone enjoyed thereby feeling the importance of Mothers in everyone’s lives .We also had other inter house competitions viz. poem recitation, group song and solo song  competitions which were divided into four group:-

1. A) Card making (class 1 & 2)
2. B) Poem recitation (class III –V)
3. C) Group song (VI-VIII)
4. D) Solo song (class IX-XII)

As a part of these competitions students recited beautiful poems, sang group and solo songs which were dedicated to their mothers. These stupendous performances made whole atmosphere emotional with their heart touching performances.

At the end Our Principal Ms. Sunita Kharbanda and Head Mistress Ms. Mamta Arora were called upon and our Principal Ms. Sunita Kharbanda quoted, “God could not be everywhere and therefore he made mother.” She also told students to be more appreciative towards their mothers and helping them at home. After her inspiring words result of the competitions were announced and certificates were given to the winners.
