Inter House Sports Competition

In this era of cut throat competition, it is of supreme importance to provide opportunities to students to meet the challenges of the future. Therefore, our school lays special emphasis on Co-curricular activities to provide students an edge over others to be a leader in their respective field of activity.

Inter House Basket Ball Competition: In pursuit of the same, the students of the four houses of the school competed in a Basketball Match. Initially boys stepped onto the court to set it ablaze with speed, endurance, magical footwork, dribble and much to the audience-excitement, a nail-biting finish. Pragati House boys and girls emerged triumphant after winning the First Position in the Senior Category.

An inter-house chess competition was organised in the school on 27th September 2019. There were two participants (one boy and one girl) from each House. Two rounds were conducted under each category. Point system was followed in the competition where the winners were awarded points. Finally the house that attained maximum points was declared the winner in each category. First position among the boys was taken by Preet House; second position was hold by Pragati House. In girls’ category, first position holder was Prerna House and second was Prakash House.

An Inter House Carom Competition was organized for the Students from all four houses showed enthusiasm and gave some stellar performances. After some really close and nail biting finishes, the competition concluded with the final matches among girls and boys as Prerna House (boys) won first position with 29 points and girls won with 27 points. Second position holder was Pragati House in both the categories (boys and girls).

Badminton Inter House Competition was also organized. The students exhibited great zeal throughout the competition. In this competition Prakash House (boys’ category) held first position while second position was taken by Preet House. In girls’ category first position holder was Prerna House and second position holder was Prakash House.

 Inter House Table Tennis Matches:  The matches were held in the school sports room. All the four houses participated under two categories: Boys and Girls. Two participants from each house participated in each category. Excitement and enthusiasm for the competition was infectious. In this competition among the boys, Preet House secured first position and second position was secured by Prerna House. Among the girls category, Pragati House stood first while Preet House managed to get second position.

Inter House Race Competition: Caterpillar race, One leg race, Frog race, Hurdle race was organized among all the four Houses.
