World Animal Day
World Animal Day was celebrated at Sant Nirankari Public School, Faridabad by organizing a special assembly on 7th October for classes III to V under the guidance of our respected Principal Ms. Sunita Kharbanda and our respected Headmistress Ms. Mamta Arora.
The function was hosted by Kripa of V A, who started the programme with a brief introduction of the day, World Animal Day celebrating relationship between humans and animals. Animals play a diverse array of role in our lives. They not just enrich our lives with their support and companionship; they also make us better human beings. The other programmes of the assembly were as follows:
The programme was started by a group song which was presented by the students from III to V. The song was about the life of animals, which was really a heart touching performance.
Then a beautiful poem was recited by the students of class IV which was a treat to listen and was presented nicely.
The programme was followed by a ‘Group Act’ by the students of classes III to V which was held to tell the students the importance of animals and forests in our life.
After this act one of our house teachers, Ms. Seema Midha asked students that what they have learned after seeing these performances and also motivated them to treat the animals fairly. She also encouraged them to help the animals by giving them food and water.
The students of III to V presented a group dance which was really an incredible performance.
The programme was concluded by the blessings of our honorable Principal Ms Sunita Kharbanda. Speaking on the occasion our respected Principal told students that they should not tease animals and should treat them in a proper way and if it’s possible then they should adopt any pet with the permission of their parents. She also motivated them that they should feed the animals and should give them water and proper care.
