World Food day
16th Oct. 2019, World Food Day is a day of action dedicated to eradicate worldwide hunger from our life time. It is an annual observation in honour of the founding of the Food and Agriculture Organization of United Nations in 1945.
Students, teachers of Sant Nirankari Public School Sec- 16 A, Faridabad along with the volunteers of Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation took an initiative to this noble cause. Zero Hunger with a motto of “Our actions are our future”. They visited and donated raw food like pulses, rice, flour, biscuits, spices etc. to Old Age Home “ Janak Seva Samiti” Sector 19, Faridabad on 13th Nov. 2019.
The residents of Old Age Home were extremely happy and blessed the students. The Chairperson of Old Age Home, Mr. Arun appreciated Principal “Mrs. Sunita Kharbanda” and “SNCF” for this initiative.
