‘Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard’

The CBSE center of excellence conducted a KHELO INDIA NATIONAL FITNESS assessment for physical education teachers at Ashok Memorial Public School Faridabad on Sept 17th 2019. Mr. Rakesh Bainsla from Sant Nirankari Public School , Sector 16 A Faridabad along with other 53 physical teachers of different schools participated & benefitted from this work shop. It was discussed that for this fitness test all the students of classes I to XII have to register on an application.

The aim and objective of the workshop was to revive the sports culture in India at the grass root level especially among the school children. They were advised to use Khelo India Fitness Assessment App in order to do the fitness test administration in the schools and view the school dashboard for the school interface. It was also recommended that the assessments should be done twice a year (for term I & II in each academic year). The minimum gap between tests should be 4 months. The use of modern gadgets & technologies to identify and nurture the sporting talents at school level was emphasized in this workshop.
